On Tuesday evening, July 14, RENEWAL was screened in Anaheim, CA at General Convention, the triennial national gathering that sets policy for the Episcopal Church. Convention attendees from across the country enjoyed the film and the energetic discussion that followed. Facilitated by Mike Schut, the Church's Program Officer for Economic and Environmental Affairs, the conversation focused on ways for churches to share about their work and learn from one another. RENEWAL was an excellent tool for encouraging discussion about religious environmentalism, and many of the congregational leaders who attended the screening will be using it at their home churches.
