For more than a decade, Ibrahim has been a passionate advocate for grassroots environmental action in the New York City area where he has worked as an environmental energy consultant for many agencies including the New York City Mayor's Office of Long Term Planning & Sustainability.

Now, from the depth of his Muslim faith, Ibrahim has authored this inspiring book, a landmark work that promises to further the movement of growing Muslim-environmentalism in America.

To Muslims and non-Muslims alike, both Green Deen and RENEWAL's Food for Faith, offer powerful positive stories of what can be achieved when people follow Islamic teachings about the responsibility to be good stewards of the earth.
