Climate change is expected to get substantial attention in more than 1,200 congregations, spanning a wide range of religions, over this coming February 10-12 Valentine’s Day weekend.
Interfaith Power & Light, a broad-based coalition of religious interests, is sponsoring its third annual National Preach-In on Global Warming. Its goal: “to raise the profile of this issue … helping people of faith to express their love for Creation and build a sustainable future.” Interfaith provides numerous preach-in resources on its website, including a stock Valentine’s Day postcard to be sent to U.S. senators.
