Seattle, WA

RENEWAL was screened as part of a double bill along with the keynote address at Seattle's Hazel Wolf Environmental Film Festival and it won a "Best of Fest" award.

David Atcheson, Festival Co-Chair wrote with congratulations. "We screened over 60 films and shorts. The Best of Fest list includes 10 features (as usual), three shorts, and two films for a young audience. Selections were made by the review committee and informed by audience feedback slips collected after each film session." You can see the Best of Fest list on our festival homepage, https://www.hazelfilm.org/?page_id=31.

"The evening went very well, with Alex Steffen speaking first about sustainability solutions, a short break, then the screening of RENEWAL introduced by Carol Jensen. Most people stayed for the dialogue with Peter Illyn (Carol also joined Peter).

"RENEWAL is an inspiring look into how people of diverse faith traditions are organizing, teaching, and joining together to celebrate and protect the evironment. Without being at all preachy, each of the eight discrete segments of the film provides a window onto a different part of this growing and critically important movement."
